I am creating original art by disassociating form from function in plants and flowers via physical intervention, manipulation, or motion and capturing the result in a variety of ways, both analog and digital. The intent was to produce in these contact prints the creative dissonance of a disruption in what the mind normally expects to see as a flower or plant, as it becomes instead, something threatening, disruptive, or even a new aesthetic of sinister beauty.

Sadly, Diane Kaye passed away on 1st October, 2020. Her two sites are maintained as she left them, preserved as a testimonial to the breadth and quality of her contributions to photography.
